By the Water, With Loved Ones

I grew up near the Margate waterfront as a proud “Reddo” (Redcliffe Peninsula) kid, where life was full of barefoot adventures, salty air, and the kind of moments that stay with you—fish and chips on the grass, sunset chats and many cherished moments with loved ones that always seemed to slow time in the best way. That stretch of waterfront holds some of my dearest memories—and even now, it's where I go to slow down, breathe, and soak it all in.

The resilient, cheery blooms that dot the gardens there inspired the name of our store. And just like them, we hope the pieces you find here bring a little warmth, cheer, or encouragement to your journey.

Made for Connection

We all know that life is richer when we’re connected. Whether it's family, friends, colleagues, or even encounters with kind strangers, our relationships shape the moments that make life rich and full. The best connections aren’t always the big gestures—sometimes, it’s a shared laugh, a heartfelt conversation, or simply knowing someone is there for you.

Life moves quickly, and some seasons feel heavy. In a world that often overwhelms, slowing down to nurture our connections helps keep us grounded. No matter who we are or where we've come from, deep down we're all searching for the same things—hope, peace, love and something real to hold on to in the craziness of this world.

For me, I've found that in Christ Jesus—my Lord and Saviour. His love met me in the middle of my mess—and He changed everything. I was caught in patterns I couldn't shake, weighed down by things I tried to numb. But He met me there. I've experienced His amazing grace, mercy and unconditional love in real ways and continue to every day.
